Creating a seamless online shopping experience
Business problem: NRMA is an Australian insurance company specialising in car insurance, home insurance, travel insurance and many other types of insurances. NRMA members have access to roadside assistance, motoring advice and member-only discounts. They have established an NRMA Shop as the one-stop shop for its members for all motoring, travel and lifestyle needs. However, the online shop they've built was hosted on an external site and they wanted this to be brought into their main website for a more seamless user experience.
Solution: As the previous online shop was an external site, one of the challenges was looking at how to seamlessly introduce the new online shop into NRMA's main website. Part of the redesign is to complete a site audit of their online shop and main website, to look at ways how the two separate websites could be merged so users would not have a disjointed experience. In the end, we helped NRMA create a practical and easy to use online shop, whilst keeping in line with their core values and brand.
